Winter wedding dresses ‘influenced by celebrity trends’
Ladies planning to invest in wedding insurance before they beginning searching for their perfect gown may be interested to hear about the latest trends.
Bryony Toogood, fashion director at Brides Magazine, explained how two of summer 2011′s biggest celebrity nuptials are set to influence dress styles through winter.
She claimed the wedding attire chosen by Kate Moss and Kate Middleton have helped to make “formal lace and 1920s [style], with a touch of rock’n'roll, big news in most collections”.
Trends to look out for include long sleeves, high necks, full princess skirts, sheer silk tulle, beaded lace and bias-cut satin, Ms Toogood commented.
It was also suggested that floor-length, traditional veils have increased in popularity, as well as vintage cap-style headpieces.
The Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot with Prince William on April 29th in Westminster Abbey, while Moss wed her long-term partner Jamie Hince on July 1st at a church ceremony.
