A dress company from Warwickshire has been shut down and its owners disqualified for a total of 14 years after it failed to deliver over 76 pre-paid orders.
C&C Wedding Company Ltd was a bridal wear and suit hire business, which continued to accept pre-payments and deposits from couples in the total sum of £35,976 despite the company being insolvent and unable to fulfil the orders.
Over 76 brides and grooms have lost all their money, and have had to upsettingly and begrudgingly pay out again for new wedding attire.
