Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth announce their engagement
Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon and Hollywood agent Jim Toth have announced just announced their engagement on December 28th.
A spokesperson for Ms Witherspoon confirmed the good news over the Christmas period and told America’s US Weekly that “They are extremely happy.”
Mr Toth is a talent agent for Creative Artists Agency, which represents Witherspoon; however, in September 2010, he was promoted to become one of the agency’s two heads of motion picture talent.
The couple began dating early at the beginning of January 2010 and were seen openly in the media together months later. Toth is said to have really bonded with Reece’s two children Ava and Deacon. The four of them have been spotted on various family outings and regular church visits on Sunday.
Rumours of a marriage proposal began circulating in early December when Mr Toth was spotted looking round LA’s most prestigious jewellers such as Tiffany’s and Harry Winston.
In an interview for the January 2011 issue of Glamour, Witherspoon said of her relationship with Toth, “what I’m finding out is that it’s very comfortable to be with somebody who understands my career, but doesn’t do what I do. He’s a great guy. He’s wonderful.”
