Red Carpet treatment
The walk down the aisle for Samantha Poser, from St Austell, was slightly elongated than that of the traditional aisle on the day of her dream wedding.
Unbeknown to Samantha, her father had laid out a 700ft red carpet, running all the way from their family home to the church.
Samantha had originally opted for arriving at the church on her father’s elaborately decorated quad bike, and had no idea that her father, Phil, had arranged a completely different entrance for her.
Many passers by and motorists were astounded and stunned by the sight of the 200 metre red carpet running through the streets of the village. Sam was overwhelmed at her magical fairytale walk to the church. Sam’s father Phil said: ‘When she saw the carpet she was absolutely gobsmacked and it really made it all worthwhile.’
‘Sam’s always liked the notion of having a dream wedding,’ Phil stated. ‘So with the help of the lads that work for me I ordered in some extra long lengths of red carpet and decided that Sam could have her very own celebrity walkway from her door to the church.’
All of the archways in the church were also intricately and beautifully decorated by Sam’s parents, and flowers were laid out all over their home.
