Lord of the Rings star exchanges rings and ties the knot
It was a Christmas wedding for Lord of the Rings star Billy Boyd as he tied the knot in Glasgow to his long term partner, Ali McKinnon.
The pair met when they appeared in panto together in 2002 and have a four year old son.
The wedding was intimate with only around 30 guests attending the service with around 130 in attendance for the reception. Amongst the guests were a couple of Hobbits in the form of Elijah Wood and Dominique Monaghan who stared along side Billy in the famous trilogy.
