Flash Mob Wedding at Netley Abbey
The flash mob craze entered the British Wedding scene last weekend as the first British flash mob wedding took place at Netely Abbey, near Southampton.
The happy couple at the centre of proceedings were Darryll and Sam Low. Joined by 70 guests, the congregation posed as tourist looking around the Abbey.
Then, much to the shock of the actual tourists, the flash mob wedding started. A violinist began to play and guests made Aisle complete with flowered pew ends.
Darryll and Sam then exchanged vows before saying a little prayer and breaking into song.
Then as quickly as it had started the wedding finished, leaving onlookers looking completely baffled.
Speaking in the Mirror, Darryll spoke about the public reaction saying.
“We got a few funny looks from members of the public, who must have been wondering why people were in suits.”
Despite the funny looks, it was a dream wedding for the pair. Sam said:
“We’ve been on a high ever since.”
