Ed Miliband ties the knot to Justine Thornton
Labour Leader Ed Milliband married his long term partner, environmental lawyer, Justine Thornton in an intimate ceremony last Friday.
Keen for the wedding not to turn into a Celebrity or Politian spotting event, the only MP in attendance was Ed’s brother, and his former Leadership opponent, David Milliband.
Joined by 50 close family and friends the couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Langar Hall, a Georgian Country House and Hotel in Nottinghamshire close to where Justine grew up
Justine looked stunning in a V-neck flowing gown by British designer Alice Temperley. Meanwhile Ed looked dapper in a Aquascutum suit.
In fitting with the intimate proceedings only Ed and Justine gave speeches. Ed delivering an emotional dedication to Justine:
