Couple enter the record books with 85 I dos
Mark and Denise Duffield-Thomas, from Ireland, have entered the Guinness Book of Records after they renewed their wedding vows 85 times in different locations around the world.
Mark and Denise broke the previous record of 83 renewals in a traditional Aboriginal ceremony in Queensland, Australia.
Not wanting to stop at 84, the couple added the 85th in a ceremony live on an Australian radio station.
Mark and Denise had been completing the renewal mission after winning a competition with RunawayBrideandGroom.com to become honeymoon testers for the site which offers weddings abroad and honeymoons.
The company paid for Mark and Denise to travel the world and say I do in some iconic and idyllic settings including a lagoon surrounded by tropical fish.
