‘Consider paper bouquets’ for eco weddings
Paper bouquets may be one option for couples looking to invest in wedding insurance ahead of their eco-friendly nuptials.
It was suggested by Sofira Suiad in an article for Waste Management World that crafting an arrangement rather than purchasing flowers is a greener way to celebrate saying ‘I do’.
She noted that individuals need only a few basic tools and a creative mind in order to put the pieces together in a life-like style.
For brides who prefer to carry an arrangement of real flowers, Martha Stewart Weddings suggested that paper or fabric bouquets can be a nice option for flower girls to carry instead.
Alternatively, such creations could be used as centrepieces or reception venue decorations.
“A homemade paper bouquet will work out very inexpensive yet chic,” Ms Suiad stated, while it was also noted that such arrangements can be made well in advance of the big day.
