Bridal party falls in lake
Whilst posing for photographs, newlywed Nikki Palluzzi and her bridal party stepped on to a dock over Sugarloaf Lake, Detroit, to get some great pictures.
When striking a pose, the platform gave way completely, sending the group into the water. The bride’s feet were totally submerged for around 10 seconds before she was helped out of the water by her friends.
The video was captured entirely by cinematographer Jeff Hayford, and has become an internet sensation on YouTube. The wedding dress was hand dried with a towel, but the bride soon saw the funny side and laughed it off.
One of the groomsman said: ‘I think the dock is going to collapse,’ and it did, but everyone managed to get to shore safely and laugh about the whole thing with a few drinks.
