All set for another Royal Wedding
Zara Philips and Mike Tindall are all set to tie the knot this weekend, in the second high profile British Royal Wedding of the year.
In contrast to the grand spectacle which surrounded Wills & Kate’s nuptials, Zara and Mike vows will me a more of an intimate affair – well intimate for a royal anywhere.
While millions across the world tuned into Williams and Kate’s ceremony at Westminster Abby, only around 1500 people a predicted to witness Zara and Mike’s big day. A massive number for most Brides and Groom’s but relatively modest by royal standards.
The ceremony is set to take place on Saturday at Canongate Kirk on Edingburg’s Royal Mill, followed by a reception at the Queen’s Scottish residence Holyroodhouse.
Kicking off celebrations in style, Zara will host a cocktail party aboard the Royal Britannia yacht on Friday Night.
The proceedings will however be a largely private affair, with no public viewing platforms or television broadcast.
