Insuring Your Wedding Is Perfect
Couples may be inspired to invest in wedding insurance after hearing how one bride-to-be has been left out of pocket following a vendor's cancellation.
In an interview with the Sunderland Echo, Ashley Woods described how she and her fiance Christopher Kerr booked photographer Rose Ellen Bennett to take snaps on their big day in September.
However, the pair have been forced to find a new photographer after Ms Bennett cancelled the job without warning.
Despite several phone calls, Ms Woods claims to have been unable to contact Ms Bennett and is still waiting for her £399 to be returned.
"When they rang us to cancel the wedding photographs they told us they would try and get our money back to us as soon as possible but we still haven't heard anything from them," she remarked.
Elsewhere, the Shropshire Star recently reported how Phil Barrett of PB Artworks has been nominated in the best newcomer category at the Wedding Industry Awards 2012.
