Mass wedding sees 20 couples tie the knot
Couples taking part in a mass marriage ceremony in the US may have included some unusual clauses in their wedding insurance policy.
The Hilton Garden Riverfront hotel in Suffolk hosted the nuptials of 20 brides and grooms, the local News-Herald reports.
Dressed in an array of outfits, including traditional suits and bridal gowns, the men and women taking part ranged in age from young to old.
As the officiator asked the couples to repeat their vows, those taking part responded in unison, before exchanging rings.
During the Valentine's Day ceremony, friends and family sat at nearby tables and watched the unusual nuptials take place.
Following the wedding event, 60 other couples were given the opportunity to renew their vows in a similar service.
Elsewhere, Lisa Allison, who took part in a mass Valentine's Day wedding in the US town of Largo, told the local Patch newspaper how such a ceremony helps take the stress out of planning a big day.
