Couple appeal for help hosting their dream big day
Investing in wedding insurance may be particularly important for one couple who have limited funds to pay for their big day.
Karen Wilkinson and her husband-to-be Chris Sanders are hoping kind wellwishers will provide them with a cake, car and photography in return for the couple's services.
Since being made redundant two years ago, the pair have struggled to find work, but have been putting away a small portion of their jobseekers allowance each week in a bid to save for their ceremony.
Mr Sanders told the Northern Echo: "I will do anything in return. I'm not afraid of getting my hands dirty. If someone is prepared to loan a wedding car, I will wash all their cars for example."
Elsewhere, wedding insurance may also be needed by singer Cher Lloyd, as a source recently told the Sun the pop star is engaged to her boyfriend Craig Monk.
