Bride reunited with stolen wedding gown thanks to police
Couples may be inclined to invest in wedding insurance after hearing how one bride was almost forced to go without her dress on her big day.
A woman from the US left her gown in the boot of her car the night before her nuptials, only to discover the following morning it had been stolen.
However, local police spotted a suspicious driver and after running the number plates arrested a man found behind the wheel of the bride and groom-to-be's car.
Once the officers realised there was a wedding dress in the vehicle, they called the couple and offered to return the mode of transport as soon as possible.
The speedy response of the police meant the bride was able to wear her gown when she walked down the aisle in her frock later that day.
